Spicetify is an incredibly useful client for customizing the desktop version of the Spotify application. With Spicetify, you can tailor your application to your needs, as almost everything can be modified here.

So, what does Spicetify offer? You can find categories such as Extensions (with ADblock), Themes, Snippets, and even custom Apps.

Installation:

Windows:

  1. Ensure that you have installed your Spotify application through a web browser, not the Microsoft Store, for better stability and functionality.
  2. After installation open Windows PowerShell by pressing the Windows key on your keyboard and typing "Windows PowerShell" into the search bar.
  3. Input the following commands into PowerShell and let the program work:
iwr -useb https://raw.githubusercontent.com/spicetify/spicetify-cli/master/install.ps1 | iex
  1. Press Y when prompted.
  2. After successful installation, open the Spotify application.

Usage:

Upon installation, the Marketplace section should appear in your Spotify application. If not, restart your computer and repeat the installation process.

In the Marketplace, you will find various categories of content. In this guide, we will focus only on the Extensions category and the ADblock application.

  1. In the Extensions section, locate the "Adblock" application by user CharlieS1103.
  2. Click on the button in the bottom right corner of the application to install it.
  3. After installation, a window will prompt you to restart the application. Confirm this action.
  4. After restarting, Adblock should be fully functional.

I recommend exploring all the content available in the Marketplace and taking advantage of the customization options offered by this application, such as various themes. Installation proceeds similarly for all content, except for the Apps category. Choose what suits you best and enhances your user experience with the Spotify application.
